Jhoanne is a Multimedia Designer & Illustrator with a passion for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ representation. Her childhood as a Filipino immigrant in the U.S. taught her the power of language, visual and verbal. Inspired by the moving adventures of cartoons, movies, and comics, Jhoanne's creative career is an ongoing journey about sharing stories that invite conversations, as she believes storytelling has the power to bring people together and make positive change.

Jhoanne graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Art & Design and a minor in Asian Languages & Cultures. Her studies pushed her to deconstruct the "Model Minority" myth and carve a place for herself in the multimedia industry to give a voice to others like her. Jhoanne hopes to use her skills to broaden minds, raise social and environmental consciousness, and impact others the way others have impacted her.
